Bethlehem Pennsylvania Music
Billy Joel has often said that those early Lehigh Valley shows have always had a special place in his heart, and he agreed to return to the area to perform in Allentown at the Stabler Arena in Bethlehem. Today marks the one-year anniversary of the Boston rock band Aerosmith's performance at Bethlehem Civic Center in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 100,000 people.
The group, consisting of Billy Joel, Joe Perry, Steven Tyler, Joey Ramone, Steve Howe and Brad Paisley, flew in from New York City for the show. Media Five's management crossed paths with Aerosmith when the band selected the company's client Fuel as the promoter for their show at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem. Fuel's president and chief executive John D'Amato had a special relationship with the Lehigh Valley promoter, who started the Piano Man album tour in 1974.
The first group is located in Bethlehem, PA, in the Lehigh Valley and reaches one of the parking lots where free parking is available. Here concerts require a paid ticket, but you can check out the above mentioned Steel Stacks show, which is part of the festival.
Famous performers at the music festival included Grateful Dead, Metallica, Pink Floyd, U2 and many others. Plaza serves as a musical stage that plays the main stage of the festival as well as other venues in the city.
The biggest event of ArtsQuest is the Music and Arts Festival, which spans 10 days and includes over 500 shows for which you only have to pay $10 in paid tickets. There is also a bagpipe competition, which attracts bagpipe bands from all over the region, and a large drum competition, where bandleaders are judged by their leadership and precision in their attire. The Paul Taylor Dance Company plays more than half of our tour season and continues to enjoy international prestige.

In this sense, Kassie says it's no wonder that Bethlehem, PA-based ArtsQuest is holding its annual music festival, the largest music festival in the United States. According to the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, $77 million is brought into our economy each year through the $7.5 million in tax revenue that artsQuest collects from music festivals.
In its fourth year, an estimated one-third of visitors come from outside Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley. This year's festival, one of the largest music festivals in the United States, drew 1.2 million people, and some were afraid Bethlehem would not be able to cope with the high crowds. Finding a parking space can be a difficult task for the average F & G visitor.
